Bathroom Lighting
MASTER BATH SPA LUXURY
More homeowners are incorporating spa-like features in their master bathrooms. Utilizing chandeliers or a series of decorative sconces in the master bathroom are popular ad- ditions. While these fixtures are often the decorative feature piece in the bathroom, they can also provide the room with ambient or task light.
Adding dimmers to your bathroom lighting allows you to soften the light and will set the mood of the space. Simply adjust from the brightness of a grooming light to the relaxing softness of a tranquil spa.
POWDER ROOM PANACHE
The powder room has become a room of style and function. Many of the same design elements of the grand entry are in- corporated into the powder room. This is a statement room. For the guest that wants to freshen up a bit, you will need the functions mentioned in the basin basics section with a bold twist added. Installing a high-fashion chandelier in the center of the room, or possibly some great art glass pendants, will create a dazzling display. This is the space where you can make a great visual impact; think of bold colors and patterns.
The quality of the light is important in the bathroom.
Use 2700K or 3000K color temperature to get an appealing color tone. A CRI of 90-100 is best in order to see the subtle colors of your skin, makeup and hair.
